On February 28, XPeng Motors unveiled the 2025 XPeng G6, its latest electric SUV, featuring the company’s cutting-edge Turing AI Driving System and 5C ultra-fast charging AI battery as standard across all variants. The vehicle is set to hit the market in early March, with pricing and delivery details to be announced at that time.

The 2025 G6 marks an upgrade in XPeng’s lineup, with the Turing AI Driving System, previously introduced in the P7+ model, now standard across all new G6 variants. This system relies on a pure vision-based approach. Additionally, the 5C ultra-fast charging AI battery enhances the vehicle’s range and charging efficiency, offering a combination of intelligence, long-range capability, and rapid charging.

The new G6 features a refreshed design, with 34% of its primary components updated and 81 improvements to the overall user experience. Exterior updates include 19 enhancements, such as a seamless full-width light bar that integrates turn signals and a new rear bumper design. The vehicle also introduces a small blue light on the side mirrors, which indicates the activation of the AI driving system. This feature can be retrofitted for existing G6 owners via a Bluetooth-enabled hardware upgrade.

The interior has also been upgraded. The cabin features improved soft-touch materials and tighter assembly tolerances, along with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch floating central touchscreen. XPeng collaborated with medical experts to optimize the front seats for enhanced comfort.

The 2025 G6 is equipped with a 20-inch five-spoke wheel design and measures 4,758 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,650 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,890 mm. It is powered by a rear-mounted single motor with a maximum output of 218 kW.

The G6, first launched in June 2023, has sold nearly 100,000 units to date. However, sales began to decline in 2024 amid intensifying market competition. The 2025 refresh aims to reestablish the G6 as a benchmark in the 250,000-yuan SUV segment.

In 2024, the company delivered over 190,000 vehicles, a 34.2% year-on-year increase, with a record 91,500 units delivered in the fourth quarter alone. In January 2025, XPeng sold more than 30,000 vehicles, a 268% year-on-year increase.
