Shares of Gorilla Technology Group hit a 52-week high after the company signed a $1.8 billion deal to lead energy digitization and infrastructure overhauls in Thailand.

The stock jumped 28% to a high of $38.88 in early trading. Shares were trading at around $8.84 this time a year ago.

The software company said before the opening bell that it will lead a 15-year initiative to reshape Thailand's electricity ecosystem and modernize power distribution.

The initiative is designed to scale progressively, and revenue is expected to scale as well, with a ramp up in 2026 and 2027 as full operations begin.
