Microsoft Introduces AI Assistant for Clinical Workflow

Microsoft (MSFT) said Monday it is launching Microsoft Dragon Copilot, an artificial intelligence assistant for clinical workflow.

The tool combines voice dictation capabilities of Dragon Medical One with the ambient listening technology of DAX Copilot, enhanced generative AI, and healthcare-specific safeguards, the company said.

Key features of Dragon Copilot include streamlined documentation with multi-language support, automated tasks, and a centralized workspace for clinical tasks like medical information searches and note creation, Microsoft said.

Dragon Copilot will be available in the US and Canada in May, followed by the UK, Germany, France, and the Netherlands, with plans to expand to other key markets, the company said
