Hershey named a Kraft Heinz leader as its new chief customer officer.
Tiffany Menyhart is set to start the position on March 17, Hershey said Wednesday.
Menyhart, who joins from rival food maker Kraft Heinz, has 30 years of experience in sales and consumer packaged goods, including 15 years focusing specifically on confection. She will lead Hershey's U.S. confection sales team, the company said.
Hershey shares are down 8% over the past year, while Kraft Heinz's stock has fallen about 12% during that period. Both companies are struggling to keep cost-wary consumers buying while juggling pricing pressures from inflation, supply chain constraints and, now, tariffs.
