智通财经APP获悉，周五，理想汽车(LI.US)涨逾6%，报29.38美元。消息面上，3月3日，理想汽车宣布，旗下首款纯电 SUV —— 理想 i8 将于今年 7 月发布上市，同时发布首支预告视频。理想汽车CEO李想表示，尽管2025年7月同期上市的新车众多会有压力，但就六座纯电SUV的产品竞争力而言，对理想i8信心十足。他认为，对于二胎及三代同堂家庭的用车需求，理想i8将是一个值得期待的选择。
谈及对理想i8的销量预期，理想汽车表示，相比短期的销量，我们更在意纯电SUV给用户带来的产品价值和体验，以及充电网络能够带来的补能便利性，这是踏踏实实做好高端纯电动车的前提与基础。接下来，我们会把全部的精力用在关注用户需求上，而不是销量和竞争上。至于长期目标，我们争取在三年内成为高端纯电第一梯队。
