LendingTree, Inc. (NASDAQ:TREE) shares are trading higher on Thursday after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results after-hours yesterday.

The company reported earnings of $1.16 per share, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of losses of five cents, and revenue came in at $261.5 million, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $236.84 million.

LendingTree sees first-quarter revenue in a range of $241 million to $248 million, versus the $243.27 million analyst estimate. The company sees fiscal 2025 revenue in a range of $985 million to $1.025 billion versus the $1.02 billion estimate.

J.P. Morgan analyst Melissa Wedel raised the price forecast from $65.00 to $68.00 while keeping an Overweight rating.

The analyst forecasts double-digit year-over-year growth across all segments, with a slight margin increase for Home and Insurance, and a small margin decrease for Consumer segments.

Wedel says that the fourth-quarter performance exceeded estimates and guidance, which is certainly a positive, along with expected revenue growth across all segments.

Meanwhile, it’s worth noting that the FY25 revenue and adjusted EBITDA guidance aligned with consensus estimates ahead of the earnings report, adds the analyst.

The analyst says that 2025 seems to mark the long-anticipated return to growth across all business segments despite lenders maintaining strict underwriting standards.

The analyst says that she remains confident that as SPRING (formerly MyLendingTree) expands and introduces more features, it will generate additional revenue across its product offerings in the long term.

Other price forecast revisions include:

  • Keefe, Bruyette & Woods analyst Ryan Tomasello reaffirmed an Outperform and lowered the price forecast from $73 to $66.
  • Needham analyst Mayank Tandon maintained a Buy rating and slashed the price forecast from $78 to $65.

Price Action: TREE shares are up 23.7% at $49.83 at the last check Thursday.
