路透华盛顿3月6日 - 美国总统特朗普周四表示，他上任来的首次出访很可能会前往沙特阿拉伯，以达成一项协议，让利雅得向美国经济投资高达1万亿美元，包括购买军事装备。
特朗普在椭圆形办公室对记者说，他很可能在未来一个半月内前往沙特。他指出，他第一个任期内的首次海外之行是在2017年前往利雅得，宣布当时估计价值3500亿美元的沙特投资。
“这一次，他们变得更富有了，我们都变得更老了，”特朗普说。
他说，在他的要求下，沙特愿意在四年内向美国公司投资1万亿美元，包括购买美国军事装备。
特朗普说：“他们已经同意这样做，所以我将前往那里，我与他们的关系很好，他们也非常友好。”
