Alibaba Group (BABA) said Thursday on X that it has launched QwQ-32B, an artificial intelligence reasoning model developed by its AI unit Qwen.
Qwen said QwQ-32B, which features 32 billion parameters, delivers performance comparable to DeepSeek's R1 model, with 671 billion parameters.
QwQ-32B is accessible via Alibaba's Qwen Chat.
Alibaba Group's shares were up nearly 3% in premarket activity.
