RTX (RTX), an aerospace and defense company, said early Thursday that it entered into three agreements with JetZero, a developer of blended wing-body aircraft.

RTX said its businesses Pratt & Whitney and Collins Aerospace will provide key systems for JetZero's full-scale demonstrator, an experimental aircraft for testing and validating new technologies and designs.

"The aviation industry is focused on efforts to reduce operational costs by improving fuel efficiency and RTX has an extensive portfolio of technologies to help companies like JetZero do just that," said Juan de Bedout, RTX's chief technology officer.

RTX did not provide the financial details of the agreements.
