Dow Jones

0734 GMT - Nordic markets are seen opening lower, with IG calling the OMXS30 down 0.9% at around 2708. The rapid shifts back and forth in Trump's trade policy continue to contribute to turbulence in the market, SEB analysts say in a note. Yesterday, President Trump signed an executive order that postponed tariffs on Mexican and Canadian imports until April 2. Despite this, the S&P 500 fell by 1.8% and the Nasdaq 100 by 2.8%. At the same time, European stock market optimism over planned defense spending continued, they say. Stock markets in Asia fall and futures point lower in Europe. U.S. futures point higher. U.S. jobs data will be released at 1330 GMT. OMXS30 closed at 2733.02, OMXN40 at 2678.75 and OBX at 1410.38. (dominic.chopping@wsj.com)
