3月5日，高盛即将启动其年度裁员计划，并将这一常规调整提前至今年春季进行，而往年通常是在下半年进行。据知情人士透露，此次裁员比例将在3%至5%之间，与往年裁员规模大致相当。
本次裁员的重点是副总裁职位。据外媒援引未具名知情人士的报道，由于近年来高盛在整体招聘过程中增加了过多副总裁职位，公司计划通过裁员来优化人力结构。
高盛发言人回应称，此次裁员是公司正常年度人才管理流程的一部分，并拒绝进一步置评。
这一次裁员安排在今年春季进行，而过去几年公司通常在下半年进行裁员调整。根据高盛最新的年度财务报告，截至2024年底，高盛全球员工总数为46,500人，相比2023年底的45,300人略有增加，但仍低于2022年的48,500人。
这符合高盛的一贯策略，即控制成本并为新人才腾出空间。高盛通常每年都会进行裁员，但在新冠疫情期间曾短暂暂停这一年度调整。今年春季的裁员预计将帮助公司优化人力资源结构，以适应未来的市场环境。
