Solarbank (SUUN) said Thursday its Silver Springs project in Gainesville, New York, has received positive interconnection results through a completed Coordinated Electric System Interconnection Review.
With a positive interconnection determination secured, the company said it will now move forward with permitting the project site.
The 2.9-megawatt DC ground-mount solar project is expected to qualify for incentives through the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority NY-Sun Program.
After obtaining the required permits and financing, the company plans to begin construction of the Project, which will operate as a community solar project upon completion, Solarbank said.
