Sovereign Metals (ASX:SVM) said that farmers have returned to the rehabilitated land mined at its Kasiya Rutile-Graphite Project in Malawi, following soil remediation work, according to Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The project, part of the company's Pilot Mining and Land Rehabilitation Program, saw local landowners plant crops between December 2024 and January, ensuring no disruption to the planting season.
