Freeport Indonesia may get around 1 million tons copper concentrate export quota, minister says

JAKARTA, March 7 (Reuters) - Copper miner Freeport Indonesia may get an export quota for around 1 million metric tons of copper concentrate, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia told reporters on Friday.

The government has issued a regulation allowing raw exports of mineral under force majeure conditions, and such a quota will be valid for six months, Bahlil said.
