此次裁员是高盛控制成本、为新人才腾出空间的常规举措，也是其年度人才管理流程的一部分。截至2024年底，高盛共有4.65万名员工，较2023年底的4.53万人略有增加，但少于2022年的4.85万人。

另据报道，谷歌正在裁减其云计算部门的员工，但受影响的具体人数尚不清楚。

雪佛龙计划进行全球裁员，裁员幅度可能在15%至20%之间，约9000名员工可能受到影响。

Meta启动了裁员5%的计划，主要针对表现最差的员工，以留出职位吸引优秀人才。
