KKR (KKR) intends to expand Strategic Holdings, its long-term ownership arm that it created more than a year ago, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.

The unit was formed to hold 18 private equity bets that declare regular dividends, according to the news outlet.

KKR Co-Chief Executive Joe Bae said at the Bloomberg Invest conference in New York that over time, Strategic Holdings will include certain platforms like infrastructure and real assets, and certain buildup investments in different sectors.
