AEON Credit Service (M) (KLSE:AEONCR) issued 600 million ringgit in senior sukuk under its sukuk program on Thursday, according to a same-day Malaysian bourse filing.
The issuance comprises 350 million ringgit in series 8 tranche 1, with a five-year tenure, and 250 million ringgit in series 8 tranche 2, with a six-year tenure.
Proceeds will be used for consumer financing based on Shariah principles and to refinance existing loans or sukuk.
