智通财经APP获悉，据Electrek发现的一份与沃勒县达成的税收减免协议显示，特斯拉(TSLA.US)计划在得克萨斯州休斯敦附近新建一座超级工厂。该公司将接手位于得克萨斯州凯蒂市附近帝国西部工业园区内一栋面积达100万平方英尺的建筑，此前特斯拉已租赁该建筑。特斯拉将利用这一设施建设Megapack电池组生产线。
本周，特斯拉的管理人员在委员法院会议上表示，该工厂将仿照位于加利福尼亚州拉思罗普的工厂建设。对现有制造设施的改造包括提升其电力容量，以及对供暖和制冷设备进行改进。特斯拉将安装制造设备，预计成本约为1.5亿美元。
凯蒂市的Megapack电池储能制造工厂将是特斯拉的第三座此类工厂，前两座分别位于加利福尼亚州和已在上海投入运营的新工厂。
值得一提的是，特斯拉近来股价“跌跌不休”，年初至今已跌超30%，除公布的多地销量数据纷纷大幅下滑外，马斯克踏入政坛的举措损害公司品牌形象、公司高管套现等多重因素打击也让市场对该公司表示担忧。
不过，在这种争议下，华尔街仍对特斯拉表示看好，大摩、高盛发布研报称，特斯拉将受益于实体人工智能的主题，短期内虽然面临基本面挑战，但FSD收入增加将改善长期盈利能力。
截至发稿，特斯拉股价在美股盘前交易中下跌2.38%，至272.45美元，其52周股价区间为138.80美元至488.54美元。
