中新网3月8日电 据美国《纽约时报》援引多位知情人士报道，在当地时间6日的一次白宫内阁会议上，美国“政府效率部”负责人马斯克与国务卿鲁比奥就机构裁员问题发生了争执。

据报道，马斯克指责鲁比奥领导的国务院没有解雇任何人，并批评鲁比奥抵制前者大规模裁员的要求。

报道称，鲁比奥驳斥马斯克称，美国国务院有1500名员工已接受“买断离职”计划。鲁比奥还讽刺地问马斯克是否想让他重新雇用这些人，这样他就可以再次解雇他们。

报道介绍，此次会议是在各机构负责人和白宫高级官员抱怨马斯克的(大规模裁员)行动过于强硬之后召开的。

不过，根据路透社最新消息，当地时间7日，美国总统特朗普在白宫椭圆形办公室被记者问及《纽约时报》的相关报道时，否认了这一说法。
