美联储理事Adriana Kugler表示央行在“一段时间内”维持利率不变可能是合适的，指出通胀面临上行风险。

　　“鉴于近期通胀预期上升，以及关键通胀类别还未展现出向我们2%目标迈进的进展，在一段时间内继续将政策利率保持在当前水平可能是合适的，”Kugler周五在为葡萄牙一次演讲准备的讲稿中说。

　　Kugler之前说过，美联储在实现通胀目标方面还有“一段路要走”，并提到显示通胀预期上升的数项指标。

　　密歇根大学的报告显示，消费者预计未来五到十年物价将以每年3.5%的速度上涨，是机构汇编数据中1995年以来最高水平。决策者认为良好锚定的通胀预期是保持价格稳定的关键因素。

　　市场普遍预计，美联储官员将在3月18日至19日的下次会议上维持借贷成本不变。在去年年底将利率下调整整一个百分点后，Kugler和她的许多同事表示，在再次降息之前正在寻找通胀降温的明显证据。

　　Kugler指出，通胀自去年下半年以来基本呈横向走势，非市场型核心服务和商品通胀的上升对物价造成上行压力。

　　“这种上涨并不受欢迎，因为从长期来看，商品价格的回落抵消了其他类别价格的上涨，从而抑制整体通胀，”Kugler说。

　　她还指出，新政策的通胀影响存在“相当大的不确定性”。美国总统唐纳德·特朗普对主要贸易伙伴的关税政策迅速变化，使得官员们评估很难评估经济影响。
