CME Group's (CME) BrokerTec said Thursday its average daily notional volume hit a new single-day record of $1.05 trillion on Monday.

The new record topped a previous high of $909 billion in average daily notional volume reached in February.

The company said the rise was driven by higher trading activity in US Treasuries, US and EU Repo, European government bonds, request-for-quote, and streaming platforms.

BrokerTec also reported $407 billion in US Repo ADNV, with EU Repo volumes of 350 billion euros ($377.86 billion) and volume of US Treasuries at $137 billion on Monday.
