智通财经APP获悉，据一封内部邮件显示，亚马逊(AMZN.US)已成立了一个专注于代理人工智能(Agentic AI)的新团队，旨在帮助用户和客户实现更多生活场景的自动化。
AWS首席执行官Matt Garman在电子邮件中表示，新团队将由AWS高管Swami Sivasubramanian领导。Garman写道：“代理人工智能有可能成为AWS的下一个价值数十亿美元的业务。”邮件还透露，此前担任人工智能和数据副总裁的Sivasubramanian将直接向Garman汇报。
代理人工智能旨在为用户自动化任务，从而无需用户手动提示系统执行操作。亚马逊上周在宣布即将于本月晚些时候向部分客户发布更新版语音服务Alexa时，就展示了部分此类功能。
Garman在邮件中写道：“我们有机会帮助客户更快地创新并解锁更多可能性，我坚信AI代理是这一波创新浪潮的核心。”
亚马逊发言人没有立即回应置评请求。
同样在周二，AWS高级副总裁Peter DeSantis在一封内部邮件中宣布了AWS内部的一系列额外重组。多年来，AWS一直是亚马逊的利润中心。重组包括将人工智能团队Bedrock和SageMaker以及硬件工程部门移至计算组织下，并成立一个结合客户体验和商务的新团队。
DeSantis表示，这些变化将有助于“加速创新”。
