金吾财讯 | 据媒体报道，知情人士透露，沙特阿美公司正谋划收购英国石油公司（BP）欲出售的润滑油资产。当前，这家中东能源巨头正积极推进收购事宜，旨在借此强化自身在石油消费国的影响力。知情人士指出，沙特阿美正深入评估，考量是否对以嘉实多（Castrol）品牌运营的部分乃至全部业务发起竞标，并且极有可能将嘉实多资产与其旗下的胜牌（Valvoline）润滑油部门整合。需注意的是，沙特阿美于 2023 年斥资 26.5 亿美元完成了对胜牌润滑油部门的收购。
英国石油公司为实施重大公司重组，已启动对嘉实多润滑油业务的战略评估。媒体曾报道，嘉实多润滑油业务估值或达 100 亿美元。
据知情人士透露，沙特阿美对嘉实多在印度这类增长迅猛市场的业务尤为关注。因信息敏感需保密，该知情人士要求匿名。嘉实多在孟买上市的子公司嘉实多印度有限公司，目前市值约为 25 亿美元。
