Baidu (HKG:9888) plans to offer yuan-denominated senior unsecured offshore bonds, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.
The principal amount, interest rates, and other terms will be set later. Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including debt and interest payments.
