Amazon's (AMZN) Amazon Web Services said Thursday it has launched GameLift Streams, a new capability that allows developers to stream games on "virtually any device with a browser."
With Amazon GameLift Streams developers can start streaming games instantly without modifying the code to players' device specifications, on any web real-time communication-enabled browser, according to the company.
The GameLift Streams has the capacity to deliver streams of 1080p and 60-frames-per-second.
Amazon shares were down more than 3% in recent trading.
