General Dynamics Raises Dividend 5.6%

General Dynamics increased its dividend to $1.50 from $1.42.

The new payout, equal to $6 a year, represents an annual yield of about 2.4% based on Tuesday's closing price of $250.80.

The Reston, Va., aerospace and defense company said Wednesday that the higher dividend will be paid May 9 to shareholders of record as of April 11.
