Sparc Technologies, Flinders University Receive Government Funding for Aquaculture Technology Project; Shares Up 3%

Sparc Technologies (ASX:SPN) and its partner, Flinders University, secured AU$353,098 in funding under Australia's Economic Accelerator Ignite grant program, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The collaboration aims to develop a graphene-enhanced material for aquaculture nets to reduce fish farm operational costs, environmental impact, biosecurity, and health risks, the filing said.

Sparc Technologies shares rose 3% in afternoon trade Wednesday.
