BlockBeats 消息，3 月 6 日，据《联合早报》报道，新加坡内政部政务部长孙雪玲表示，去年涉及诈骗的总损失金额中，加密货币骗案占了四分之一。去年涉款最高的一起诈骗案中，受害者点击了假会议链接后，在电脑下载并运行恶意代码，损失约 1 亿 2500 万元新币。
孙雪玲称，除了恶意软件，骗徒也会设计假网页、发出钓鱼链接，或用“唱高散货”（pump and dump）的伎俩把模因币（Memecoin）价格炒高再让它暴跌。“我们给公众的建议是，远离加密货币。被‘烧’到的风险很高，而若成为骗局的受害者，拿回一分钱的机会都很渺茫。”
