Albertsons (ACI) will replace Aspen Technology (AZPN) in the S&P MidCap 400 index before trading opens on March 11, S&P Dow Jones Indices said late Tuesday.
The move comes as S&P 500 constituent Emerson Electric (EMR) is acquiring Aspen in a deal expected to be completed soon, pending final closing conditions.
