BlockBeats 消息，3 月 5 日，Binance 联合创始人 CZ 在社交媒体上表示，自己没有任何有意义的 ETH 持仓。一些旧钱包里可能零星有些 ETH。因为 BNB 在早期是作为 ERC-20 代币推出的，需要 ETH 作为 gas 费用。
CZ 表示，自己错过了上车 ETH 的机会。2013 年曾在一个比特币会议上见过 Vitalik，2014 年就知道了他们的“ICO”计划。2015 年，Vitalik 来东京时还在自己的小公寓里待过。自己当时（傲慢地）给 V 神的建议是：“在区块链上搞一个图灵完备的语言是不是有点好高骛远了？”他却说这是可以做到的。
但话又说回来，如果自己那么早就购买 ETH，可能不会有动力推出 Binance 或 BNB。
