Singapore Shares Rise 0.2%, Tracking Regional Gains -- Market Talk

0931 GMT - Singapore's benchmark FTSE Straits Times Index closed 0.2% higher at 3898.40, tracking regional gains in Asia. China's Two Sessions meeting didn't provide any surprises while Trump's congressional speech reinforced his agenda. Among top gainers, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding rose 3.0% and City Developments was up 2.6%. Sembcorp Industries added 1.6%.
