Reddit (RDDT) said Thursday it is adding new tools to improve posting experience on its platform.
The company said users will now be able to check if their content is in conflict with a community's rules ahead of posting, and that they would have the option to repost to an alternative subreddit if it does indeed violate a community's rules.
Users would now also be able to see a community's prerequisites for posts and a list of alternative subreddits where it may fit.
The platform will also offer a dedicated page for post insights which will show users how well their posts are doing, including views, upvotes, shares, among others.
