Xiaomi (HKG:1810) looks to market its electric vehicles overseas in 2027 following the success of its SU7 model in mainland China, the South China Morning Post reported Tuesday, citing President Lu Weibing.

The company will assess overseas markets, including Europe, to gauge demand and the business outlook, the report said, citing Lu's remarks during a trade show in Barcelona, Spain.

The SU7 is priced starting at 215,900 yuan in mainland China, the SCMP said.

Shares closed 7% higher during Wednesday's trading.
