China Longyuan Power's (HKG:0916, SHE:001289) power generation stood at a little over 6.3 million megawatt-hours in February, down 2.3% from a year prior, a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.

Of this, wind and PV power generation logged a 2.8% and 80.5% increase, respectively.

The overall decline is down to the absence of coal power generation in the month as the power company ceased to own coal power consolidated installed capacity from October 2024.

For the two months ended Feb. 28, power output fell by 5.6% year over year to 12.7 million megawatt-hours, with wind and PV power generations seeing a 2.6% and 62.8% rise.
