Central Plains Environment Protection's (SHE:000544) subsidiary, Zhengzhou Zhitan Technology, will construct a source-grid-load microgrid power station for 34.1 million yuan
The project will include the Zhengzhou New District Sewage Treatment Plant and the Ma Taogang Sewage Treatment Plant, which will have a respective planned energy storage of 5 megawatts/10 megawatt-hours and 7.5MW/15MWh.
The sewage plants and the power station will be constructed for one year and will be operated for 19 years, the Chinese sewage treatment company said.
The company's shares rose more than 1% in recent trade.
