HSBC Holdings (HKG:0005) issued two series of bonds totaling AU$1.5 billion, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.
The British lender issued AU$550 million of fixed-to-floating rate subordinated bonds due in 2035 and AU$950 million of floating rate subordinated notes due in 2035.
The debt securities, maturing on March 11, 2035, were issued under HBSC's AU$10 billion debt issuance program.
The bank applied to list the bonds on the Global Exchange Market of Euronext Dublin.
