智通财经APP讯，国泰航空(00293)发布2024年全年业绩，收益1043.71 亿港元，同比增长10.5%;国泰集团股东应占溢利98.88亿港元，同比增长1.0%;每股基本盈利149.2港仙。
公告称，2024年为集团连续第二年财务表现稳健。对集团而言，下半年向来表现较上半年强劲，这种情况同样出现在2024年和2023年。在货运需求上升、客运量增加、燃油价格下降及成本效益较去年提高带动下，集团下半年财务业绩稳固。另一方面，随着航班供应量增加以满足整体市场需求，乘客收益率一如预期转趋正常，部分抵销了上述利好因素。
集团旗下航空公司及附属公司于2024年全年取得应占溢利港币88.49亿元(2023年：港币92.25亿元)。来自联属公司的业绩(大部分为延迟3个月确认)取得全年溢利港币2.88亿元(2023年：亏损港币15.62亿元)。
2024年的应占溢利包括一项非经常性非现金收入港币5.78亿元，此收入是由于国航于2024年2月完成发行H股股份及于2024年12月完成发行A股股份后集团所持国航权益因而被摊薄，以及国货航于2024年12月在深圳证券交易所上市后集团所持国货航权益因而被摊薄。
随着香港三跑道系统启用，国泰正全力投资未来，致力把握中国香港枢纽新扩建带来的丰硕机遇。
未来数年，集团将继续视升级为港币一千亿元投资一部分。集团新增最先进和具燃油效益的飞机，以扩大机队和使机队现代化，以助集团于2050年实现净零碳排放的目标。航空业减碳的工作任重道远，而且需要整个供应链的协作。
