Yue Yuen Industrial's Attributable Profit Soars 43% in 2024; Shares Slip 3%

Yue Yuen Industrial (Holdings) (HKG:0551) reported a 43% increase in profit attributable to owners for 2024 to $392.4 million, compared with 274.7 million in the prior year, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

Earnings per share were $0.2434, compared with $0.1704 a year ago. Visible Alpha analysts expected an EPS of $0.26 for the year.

Revenue for the year came in at $8.18 billion, up from $7.89 billion in the previous year. Visible Alpha estimated an annual revenue of $8.23 billion.

The company proposed a final dividend of HK$0.90 for the reporting period.

The footwear manufacturers' share prices were down nearly 3% in recent trading.
