BUZZ-Aussie real estate stocks dip on reports of no tariff exemption for Australia

** Australian real estate stocks .AXRE drop as much as 1.5% to 3,533.80 points to their lowest levels since July 2, 2024

** The real estate sub-index falls after local media reported that Australia will not be exempt from U.S. steel and aluminium tariffs that U.S. President Donald Trump's administration will impose, citing a White House official

** Sector major Goodman Group GMG.AX was down 1.4%, but fell as much as 2.4% earlier in the day to hit its lowest level since March 9, 2024

** Real estate firm Dexus DXS.AX logged losses as well, dropping 2.7% to hit its lowest since February 28

** The real estate sub-index is down 5.7% YTD, compared with a 4.7% YTD decline in the broader benchmark index .AXJO
