1330 ET - Viking Holdings has been swept up in the broader market selloff amid concerns about the consumer and economy, but the core demographic is a key differentiator that should insulate them, say Melius Research's Conor Cunningham and Patrick Coleman in a research note. The cruise operator exclusively focuses on customers ages 55 and up, which the analysts note is the fastest growing portion of the US population and controls upwards of 70% of total wealth. "Viking's customers have the wealth and desire to travel, which should lead to a more stable demand environment for the company overall," say Cunningham and Coleman. Viking Holdings is off 6.7% to $39.87. (denny.jacob@wsj.com; @pennedbyden)
