Short sellers feast on Tim Goyder’s fallen angels Chalice and Liontown

Former mining billionaire Tim Goyder’s decision to dump 2.58 per cent of Chalice Mining on Friday evening has unleashed a two-pronged short trade for hedge funds scouring the ASX for trading ideas.

Tim Goyder’s shares in Liontown and Chalice, which made him a billionaire in 2023, are now worth less than $250 million.
