BASF is working with Deutsche Bank (DB) and Goldman Sachs (GS) on a potential listing of its agricultural chemicals division, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing sources familiar with the matter.
Underwriters will be appointed later, and deliberations are ongoing, with the possibility of more banks taking part, according to the report.
The division could be worth more than 20 billion euros ($21.68 billion), some sources told the news outlet.
BASF has been considering listing the agrichemical business in the US, while Germany is also a venue under consideration, Bloomberg reported.
BASF, Deutsche Bank, and Goldman Sachs did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
