塔塔电子同力积电、奇景光电结盟，欲革新印度显示半导体生态链
IT之家 3月10日消息，印度塔塔电子Tata Electronics本月5日同台湾地区晶圆代工企业力积电PSMC和显示IC企业奇景光电Himax签署谅解备忘录，致力于革新印度的显示和超低功耗AI传感器产品及技术生态系统。
IT之家注意到，塔塔电子此前已与力积电在晶圆厂建设方面达成技术授权合作。而在本备忘录的框架下，三方计划一道为共同客户提供从芯片设计到芯片制造与封装再到EMS 电子制造服务的显示半导体端到端解决方案，为印度和全球市场提供服务。
塔塔电子CEO兼总经理Randhir Thakur表示：
此次与奇景光电及力积电签署的合作备忘录，将提供更多影像显示技术以及超低功耗 AI智能感测的完整解决方案。
透过结合塔塔电子现有电子制造服务，奇景光电的IC设计以及力积电半导体制程技术，将在印度打造一个完整的生态系统，以满足印度乃至于全球显示器与智能传感器半导体市场的广大需求，并为强化印度本土半导体供应链作出巨大贡献。
