Locality Planning Energy Holdings (ASX:LPE) said work is ongoing to determine the full damage of ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred on its operations and fully restore power, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The natural disaster has led to power outages in service areas of south-east Queensland and New South Wales. Power in some areas is now back up, per the filing. Locality Planning said it will update the market on the timeline of power restoration in all affected areas.
The utility company's shares plunged 16% in recent Tuesday trade.
