United Natural Foods (UNFI) reported fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $0.22 per diluted share, up from $0.07 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.18.
Net sales for the quarter ended Feb. 1 were $8.16 billion, up from $7.78 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $7.96 billion.
For fiscal 2025, the company said it now expects adjusted EPS of $0.70 to $0.90, compared with its prior guidance range of $0.40 to $0.80.
Analysts polled by FactSet expect $0.74.
United Natural Foods also said it now expects fiscal 2025 net sales of $31.30 billion to $31.70 billion, compared with its prior guidance range of $30.60 billion to $31 billion.
Analysts polled by FactSet expect $31.10 billion.
The company's shares were up nearly 5% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
