智通财经APP获悉，优步科技(UBER.US)已终止收购Delivery Hero SE旗下Foodpanda台湾业务的交易，此前台湾地区反垄断监管机构于去年12月驳回了该交易。Delivery Hero在周二发布的一份声明中表示，优步需支付一笔解约金，预估约为2.5亿美元。优步的一位发言人在向外媒发布的声明中，重申了公司对监管机构裁决的失望之情，但称尊重该决定，不会提起上诉。
消息宣布后，优步股价延续此前跌势，下挫3.6%。
该发言人表示：“我们依然致力于深耕台湾市场，将继续以创新且具竞争力的方式服务当地消费者、商家及配送合作伙伴。”
优步原本计划在2025年上半年完成这笔价值9.5亿美元的全现金交易。若收购成功，这将成为台湾芯片行业以外规模最大的交易之一，同时也标志着Delivery Hero从亚洲市场的战略性撤退。
Delivery Hero在声明中称，台湾地区仍是其长期战略的关键组成部分。
由于市场需求未能恢复至疫情时期的增长水平，全球在线配送行业的整合进一步加剧。总部位于伦敦的Deliveroo Plc周一宣布，由于销售业绩不佳，且面临来自Foodpanda以及中国外卖巨头美团旗下子公司KeeTa的激烈竞争，将关闭其香港业务。今年2月，Prosus NV同意以41亿欧元(约合45亿美元)收购Just Eat Takeaway.com，而就在几个月前，Wonder Group Inc.刚从Just Eat手中买下总部位于芝加哥的Grubhub。
