知情人士透露，日产汽车希望在与一位新业务伙伴建立的潜在合作关系中，能直接参与新产品的开发和推出，而不仅仅是充当合同制造商。

　　日产与本田的合并交易流产为鸿海重新打开了大门，后者已表达了收购雷诺所持日产股份的兴趣。知情人士称，日产乐于与鸿海合作，不会完全拒绝这家台湾的iPhone代工商，但与一家大型科技公司建立合作关系会更有价值。 

　　随着全球汽车行业向配备先进软件的电动汽车转型，美国和中国的科技公司正纷纷进军自动驾驶和先进辅助驾驶技术领域。比如，中国智能手机巨头小米公司就已成功进军电动汽车行业，而谷歌母公司Alphabet Inc．的Waymo无人驾驶出租车也在获得越来越多的关注。

　　在与本田的合并谈判破裂后，日产开始寻找新的合作伙伴。日产董事会定于周二开会，讨论可能撤换首席执行官内田诚一事。

　　据媒体2月报道，在业绩继续恶化、与本田的交易告吹后，日产随即起草更换内田诚的计划。 

　　日本媒体上周五报道，日产正在考虑三名外国候选人，分别是首席财务官Jeremie Papin、首席绩效官Guillaume Cartier和首席规划官Ivan Espinosa。
