路透3月11日 - 美国总统特朗普周二表示，他将购买一辆新的特斯拉汽车，以示对这家电动汽车制造商的掌门人及他的盟友马斯克的支持。
在特朗普的授意下，马斯克在大幅削减联邦劳动力方面发挥了作用，这导致美国出现了针对特斯拉的抗议活动。
上周，约350名示威者在俄勒冈州波特兰市一家特斯拉经销店外举行抗议活动，而3月初在纽约市一家特斯拉TSLA.O门店外的示威活动中，有九人被捕。
马斯克是特朗普政府所谓的政府效率部（DOGE）的带头人。
特朗普在他的Truth Social平台上发表文章，为马斯克辩护，称他"冒着风险"为国效力，工作"非常出色"。
特朗普说："明天早上我要买一辆全新的特斯拉，以表示对马斯克这位真正伟大的美国人的信心和支持。"
