Vail Posts Strong Guest Satisfaction Scores, Excluding Park City -- Market Talk

1828 ET - Vail Resorts CEO Kirsten Lynch says on a call with analysts that guest satisfaction scores across the company's destination mountain resorts and regional ski areas were strong in its fiscal 2Q, excluding at its largest U.S. resort in Park City, Utah, which faced challenges stemming from a ski-patrol strike over the recent holidays. The strike was very challenging, Lynch says, and because of it, the company didn't deliver to those guests and employees the experience for which it strives. Still, "that was not indicative of the guest experience at our other resorts during that time frame," she says. "We're constantly listening and taking action." Shares rise 3.5% after hours.
