Air New Zealand (NZE:AIR, ASX:AIZ) bought back 693,181 ordinary shares as part of its buyback program announced on Feb. 20, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
The acquisition consists of 339,659 ordinary shares acquired on the NZX and the ASX for an average price of NZ$0.6031 and AU$0.5500, respectively, and 353,522 ordinary shares acquired off-market from the Minister of Finance for NZ$0.6045 each.
